Surefire hit a home run on this one. Perfect illuminator for my NVG helmet rig. Reliable on/off switch, multiple modes and high output in visible and IR modes means you’ll control the situation regardless of ambient light levels.

Next gen IR/LED
Like the rest of the Scout line of weapon lights, it is what you would expect from Surefire. This is a solid light from switch to bezel. The increased Lumen output extends not only the range but also the splash of the white light. The rotating bezel with the positive "click" in the off position is perfect for transitioning between off/IR/and white light. I particularly like the ability to set the bezel to the "off" position to avoid accidental light deployment by my rail mounted remote switch. The IR illumination eliminates the need for a illuminator on an OTAL or DBAL.
