The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is price.
I have purchased 5 or 6 lights from different mfg's. This one is the best as far as function. Probably the worst as far as value. In my opinion, for this price you should get the pressure pad and optional tail cap with the light instead of having to purchase them separately.

Pros:
- the mount is hands down the best out there.
- the quality and functionality is superior
Cons:
- the price would be ok if it came with the pressure pad and optional tail cap but it does not. By the time you purchase those three things, you could easily purchase a backup rifle and a good used streamlight
