I own 4 Surefire 600's so I was interested in how well the 640 would compare. Since the light was going on a CQB rifle I wanted a nice output and something which could light up an entire room without any overpowering white spots. For CQB, she's perfect. Tape switch attached to this light and a PEQ15 and it's golden. If you're looking for something with high output and a more concentrated beam for longer distances, get Surefire's Turbo model. Battery life is great, cool sticker I'm the box. Yeah it's pricey, but so is everything else in life. Buy once, cry once.
