Surefire vs. modlite - SureFire M640U Scout Light Pro 1000 Lumen Ultra High Output LED Weapon Light

I have both versions of the Modlite, (OKW & PLVH2) and now the Surefire. These lights really do not compare well to eachother, each has its own role to play. The OKW will illuminate a tree 300yds away with ease but not as good as illuminating a wide area like the Surefire can up close. That being said I really don't have a preference. I do like the Surefires mounting system over the Modlite though and it looks so good too.
