Initially was hesitant as multiple YT videos claimed the protac HL was just as good. I do have a protac so wanted to do my own comparison. Finally a good sale
happened and I got one and must say build is great and provides flexibility on attachment. Extremely bright so much so that even the reflection from a light colored wall made me squint the eyes. Indoor and outdoor at close ranges I feel the SureFire is a bit brighter in the beam focused area while protac has a wider area. Light is going on a short barrel AR so it will serve its purpose very well.
