Surefire XH35
I live this light. It's not as crazy bright as you may think. You may compare it to the x300 ultra and think it's twice as bright. It's got a smooth broad beam totaling 1000 lumens. Not a concentrated, "hot spot" like the x300. If i wanted to shoot things at greater distance the x300's beam would probably be a better choice. For me at home and in the woods the beam on this light is just what I need. I own two of these.
Roughly 37.5 degree beam
I have it mounted on a pistol that I keep on a nightstand. I don't need 100 yards of light for that. I just need to illuminate from the bed to the door and this does a fine job without ruining my night vision entirely. My bedroom is about 18x30 and the beam is wide enough to illuminate it from end to end. Low output is adequate, even with my old eyes. High output is uncomfortable in an unlit room.
There are better options for use on a rifle. For close range and pistol use, it's great.

Surefire Gang
Surefire does it again! I was impressed with the price for this high quality light. You can't beat A Surefire. It was very easy to install and I was able to put it on my Banshee in seconds after taking it out of the box. Not as bright as the X300 but enough light out to blind someone if you ever need to.

Great for room call clearing not the best fit for duty
Great for room clearing works amazing inside building small parking area… amazing light spectrum very refreshing color makes everything very visible clear crisp however limit yourself to short range pistol after year of duty use I swapped for use more home defense range training when I don’t need to see.

Excellent build quality
installation was very easy on my XD-9, the build quality is very sturdy, but, because of the toughness, it's heavy. The weight, though, is NOT a bad thing for me which is why I didn't give it 4 stars. It helps with the recoil and follow up shots. Very bright at 1000 lumens and the strobe is good.

Xh35 surefire
Awesome light! super bright and sturdy I have it mounted on a magpul Remington 870 and it withstands all 12 gauge loads from 3 1/2 magnums to 2 3/4 without even budging! Definitely surpassed the surefire x300 in my book in looks , handling, and mounting sturdiness.

Excellent weapon light
Excellent weapon light, high quality as always from Surefire. I love the fact you can toggle between high and low output, and that you can toggle the strobe to off. I’m a big fan of the max vision beam. Combined with the masterfire holster, this is a perfect combo.

Rifle light
I'm using this on my 300blk suppressed SHE. It is one of the best rifle lights for it's size and weight. The brightness is massive. Tight hotspot, tons of spill. I feel it's too big for most pistols. unless you actively have the MasterCam? Holster from surefire I wouldn't go bigger than the x300.
