Comfortable and utilitarian
The light is substantial, but not so heavy as to affect how you hold and use your head. The adjustable strap and forehead pad are comfortable for long periods of time, even for my big noggin! It casts a wide beam and can be dialed brighter or dimmer according to the task you are engaged in.

Outstanding
Adjustable light level with a nice round knob that is easy to grab even with gloved hands. Max level is bright enough. The construction/feel is outstanding. Very solid. No real negative. Good battery life as well

SUREFIRE MAXIMUS......
I like it because it's bright. BUT.... The fact that it has a sealed integrated battery renders it totally useless in a tactical or camping environment where charging the battery is not possible. The unit is solid but a bit on the heavy side.
If you need a bright head mounted lamp in a home/normal work situation this will be a great light for you.
I can not seem to find a red lens for it either. Red lens is required for a tactical environment.
The case gets very hot when running on full power. There are better headlamps available that are a lot less expensive.

Skull Lamp
So far so good. My light is very well built and performs as described. On high, it's bright. As battery technology advances I am looking forward to even more time on run. It's a keeper and a good one.

Excellent quality. Pros : 1) Surefire quality 2) Variable intensity control
Cons : 1) Circumference of the head piece is a little too large, probably designed for a hard hat and not the human head 2) needs an over the head strap as it is a little heavy for only the circumference strap 3) The most significant negative is the lack of a removable battery for backup when it runs down

Best Headlamp we ever owned.
Great headlamp. Best out of a number of others we tried. Friends have purchased these based off our recommendation, everyone completely satisfied.
We use these headlamps on our Whitetail Deer and Standard Bred Horse farm, when feeding after dark you can light up small area or turn up to light up large area. After hours of use just plug in to recharge. Be tuff to do without now that we have used them for some time.
