Dual output model. Works great and is very robust. The lower output always comes on first depressing the tailcap switch. If you have used the low beam the high beam will be available at the next press EXCEPT if there is too much of a delay and then the flashlight re-sets itself. It cannot be programmed to do the opposite. Therefore, if one is carrying this for personal protection the Tactical model which is single output is preferable, assuming your goal is to disorient a potential attacker. The bezel on the front is flat so if one wishes to use it as a striking tool for carry in non permissive environments this will also be a consideration.
