Amazing output for such a small package. Excellent balance and ease of controls is sure even under water and when wet. Works great even when wearing tactical gloves and flight gloves. Cannot wait to take it with me on my next adventure, a cold and wet environment.

the dual lighting system is nice to have. use the low beam, ut if you need more light click the high beam. a very nice option. the lanyard ring option sounds like a good idea, I ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet.

Very versatile light! I like the dual-mode for battery economy. This light is about as bright as any you would need for self-defense, or (as I do) using when tracking a downed animal after dusk. Very bright, and ergonomic.
Pros:
- very bright
- dual mode saves batteries
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Self defense
- camping
- Boating

This light is great overall, but it's quite large and doesn't come with a pocket clip (there are aftermarket ones). The dual output is good and bad, the low 15 lumin mode is great for day to day tasks, but in a high stress situation it might be confusing. I carry it every day in my pocket.
Pros: Lots of lumins, tough, dual modes
Cons: BIG, no pocket clip, dual modes

From my observations of friend's gear, Surefire is the most accurate on their Lumens setting. This 500 Lumens lights up a 50 yard wide 150 yards out.
Pros: solid construction
Cons: would like option of choosing high first, then low, or high only, etc...

I like this light. It is expensive but worth it. Absolutely blinding light output, but short battery life at high output 500 lumens.
Pros: Super Bright - Blinding
Cons: short battery life at 500 lumens

I highly recommend this light if it's in your budget and you're considering this or something like it. I have other 2 Surefire lights and 2 Streamlights, and while the Streamlights are great, this Surefire is just awesome. If you're on the fence with a less expensive or less powerful light, take the plunge, you won't regret it. Unless you lose it...
Pros: Powerful and long range due to 500 lumens, small, lightweight, good runtime, durable, solid Surefire product
Cons: Price is high but you get what you pay for, and comparing this light to any other is like apples to oranges. Plus, good luck finding more than a couple lights this size with the same output of 500 lumens

Quite simply a fantastic flashlight. The idea of spending a hundo on a light used to seem silly, but after dropping the same amount on multiple other brand name lights that use huge batteries, are unwieldy and leave a lot to be desired with usable light this P2X Fury is amazing. I am amazed at the amount of light that can come from such a small device. The option to use either 15 or 500 lumens only adds to this tools versatility. At first I thought that the double click to get 500 lumens in a hurry would be cumbersome, but it really is not an issue. Surefire's lifetime warranty is unbeatable. I have an Outdoorsman as well and Surefire sent a replacement tailcap in a matter of days, no questions asked. Highly recommended.
Pros: Size, selectable output, useable light, OP's unbeatable prices
Cons: None

Fits great on a duty belt with a Blackhawk pouch (C1382). Pay attention to the title, I didn't and was looking for the single output and bought this instead. Love it just the same.
Pros: Durable and lightweight

Good bang for the buck and still made in the USA.
Pros: Terrific value for the money
Cons: Two step power switch takes some getting used to...other Surefire lights go from high to low; this one goes from low to high.
