I put this on a NEF Protector. It was a little tight on the tube and the forend nut wouldn't thread on all the way and looked funny. I dremeled out the end and the nut seated in perfect. This thing looks awesome

Good Rail Platform for Your 870
If this component were just an inch longer... After mounting a small light and compact laser, there wasn't much room left to actually hold the foregrip to work the slide. That area whcih you can get your hand on needs to be covered with rail protectors, as the rail surfaces are sharp.

good feel
the feel is really good and the looks are great. Functionally, it does what it is supposed to do. Installation was not difficult but was without directions that would have been nice. I finally figured out that there were grooves at one end of the forend to accommodate securing the bolt slide within the forend. This might be obvious to someone who has done this before but a first timer will need to look closely to see this.

SureFire M69 Rem 870 picatinny Forerail
I have been wanting a railed foregrip for a while for my 870 and was torn between the 3 or 4 choices out there on the market. I decided to go with this SureFire model. Glad I did. Even without seeing the other models, I know the quality and fit is above and beyond the less reputable manufacturers. MAGPUL AFG fits nicely as a fore grip on my new rail and is comfortable like you wouldn't believe. Close to the priciest of the options out there but you won't be disappointed.
