You get what you pay for
Beautifully constructed. Well packaged. Nice and bright. I switched out the mount for an arisaka defense offset mount that really brings the light close to the rail. Only con is I had to buy a magpul tape switch mount and use electrical tape to manage the cables. For the money we spend I’d like to see a better solution for both issues.

Surefire scout
The Surefire Mini-Scout is, without a doubt, the best carbine and rifle weapon-light. I replaced the mount with an Arisaka Mount. The light sits tight against my rail. I also purchased a cloud defensive tape switch mount.
