loud tuning fork sound
When hitting metal targets it’s annoying cause you hear a double ting ting.

Use with can
Yes it is a 4 prong flash hider. Everyone at this point should know it makes a “ting” sound as the bullet exits the barrel. If that bothers you. Get something else. This muzzle device was developed to work in tandem with a surefire suppressor. I suspect it is used by the military without a suppressor in a worst case/backup scenario 2 way range.

Great price
From the price to the great customer service I received on acquiring this upgrade muzzle for my rifle was a great experience.I had Op $bucks to spend that made it less expensive so at the end of the purchase I am more than satisfied Thankyou OP.

Surefire Socom 4 Prong
I consider this the best flash hider made for the 5.56 the Surefire 4 prong is excellent especially when shooting at night. Made the switch from my second most favorite Surefire Warcomp CTN. Highly recommend either but the 4 prong is my favorite.

Great Flash Suppressor
I am a huge Surefire fan. I was very excited to get my hands on a SOCOM 4 Prong Flash Suppressor. I have not shot it at night yet due to range restrictions so I can not speak on the flash suppression but the recoil impulse is flat and even. I am waiting on my suppressor to see how it mates.
