Most Helpful Positive Review Surefire Rear Cap and tape switch assembly
This product is a must have for the Surefire Scout series of flashlights. I recently bought the M600DF light and immediately installed this tape switch assembly and honestly I couldn’t be happier. I will be utilizing this product again.
Most Helpful Negative Review Works well, connection method is questionable.
Great item conceptually, however, it comes with adhesive Velcro to attach it to your firearm. Between recoil force and the heat generated off the barrel the touch pad falls off. I had to use zip ties and get creative in order to get it to remain secure.

works great if your light uses cr123a batteries, however it does not work with the surefire 18650 battery that came in my 640 dft pro

Sure Fire Mini Scout!

Have always purchased Streamlight products. This time I thought I would step up and try the Sure Fire Mini Scout. As advertised, it stands alone. Perfect fit for my 300BLK PDW. Definitely top quality and doesn't get warm so fast as the streamlight. Most definitely recommend.

  • Great light beam

Won’t work with DFT

Did not work with my 640dft or arisaka with 300 series body. Screws on fine but will not engage when pad is pressed. Tried screwing it on with gorilla strength and still nothing. Returned it.

Great switch but crank it down

This is the remote switch for the superb SureFire dual fuel rifle light. Once you get it properly installed it works great. Be advised that if you don’t crank the end cap down AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE the switch will not engage and turn on the light. It needs to be overly tight and may even require pliers to fully engage.
