This is an awesome pen. Very solid and comfortable to write with. The only problem I have with this is the weak pocket clip. I had it for about a week and already bent it out and can't get the push button assembly off to bend it back, I will have to send it back to the manufacture to have it fixed. Otherwise, it is great.

This is one of the three models of SureFire tactical pens. It is designed to be a high end pen and last ditch self defense weapon, without looking like a weapon. This allows it to get through airport security in your briefcase or bag. For writing the balance is good, the ink flow is excellent, and the fit and finish are first rate as on all SureFire products. As far as self defense goes, I have not punched it into a muggers thigh yet. :)It is the mid priced version of the three models and is worth the money compared to other high end pens, especially considering the heavy duty construction. But the robust build comes at a price in weight.
This model comes close to pushing the limit for being to heavy for shirt pocket wear, but only slighty. I carry it that way. Very light shirt material will sag a bit. I also carry it clipped where the shirt buttons together in front. You would not know you were carrying it in a sport coat pocket or just in your pants pocket. I studied a lot of "tactical pens" on the market. If you need a dual duty pen, I don't think you can go wrong with this one.
Pros: Beautiful finish, nice balance, smooth writing.
Cons: A little heavy for shirt pocket carry.
