Great light perfect fit for my Springfield Echelon.

Absolutely love how this light attaches and the high lumens. It is the nicest one I own out of all of my weapon lights. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a top tier light.

The X300U is a solidly built weapon light. It was difficult to mount the light on my Staccato HD P4.5. It took me awhile to realize the mounting plate on the X300 was "universal" instead of "picatinny", so I followed the directions to swap it out. The Staccato and the X300 are both built to tight tolerances, so getting the light to slide onto the rail was a struggle - I'm sure the screw on version is easier to mount, but doesn't have the ability to be taken off without a screwdriver (or potentially a cartridge). You need to get it lined up perfectly (I can't stress this enough), use significant pressure, and very gently rock it side to side to get started, then it slides into place. I read some people file down the high points to make the mounting easier. Once it's mounted it fits like a glove - zero wiggle. The switches are easy to use and the light is extremely bright.

I know I complained about the mounting process, but it was only irritating, not a reason to avoid purchasing. I believe the tight fit contributes to the rock solid steadiness once it is mounted. The Staccato also contributed to the mounting struggle because of its high build quality. I assume a polymer frame would be a lot easier.

This fits my husband’s pistol perfectly! He is very pleased with the ease of function, the high lumens, and the aesthetic it adds. He has a SureFire on his Springfield 1911 as well and loves the brand overall.

Bought one years ago for my glock 20. Works like a charm. My ccp light went out on my glock 19 and I prefer the surefire over the previous light.

Great lighting and easy to operate. Easy to install. It does catch sometimes when trying to turn off, but turning on isn’t a problem

I bought this light because I have several and they are great! This one will be going on my new close quarters build. 45acp suppressed pistol.

Light brightness is really good able to see well. Easy to turn on.

Love the weapon light! Surefire is awesome! Everything they make is bomb proof! Only problem is the light doesnt fit all the way back flush against the trigger guard. I think the problem is my Canik TTI combat not the light. It fit perfect on my Glock 45. Surefire is still the way
