Worth every penny - SureFire X300 Ultra LED Weapon Light

I am very pleased with this Surefire X300 Ultra LED 500 lumen light. It is on my Glock model 17. Some of the reviews I read prior to purchasing mentioned how difficult it was to remove once it is placed on the gun. It is difficult to remove but I am OK with that as I do not want to have to worry about it falling off while it is in use. It slides on easy but removal was a bit challenging. I Went through my house at night on a test run to see if I had any high glare areas or pictures that could possibly impair my vision when the light reflected off of them. My walls are a light grey through out the house and the kitchen is white cabinets. The white light was crisp clean and illuminated the rooms with very little glare from the walls and or cabinets. My home is on 2 acres and from my back porch I can see clearly all the way to the fence lines all around the home. (approximately 150-200')I like the ambidextrous push button that momentary turns it on or the option to flip the switch and have a constant beam. The price made me think twice, but having used the Surefire E2D Defender for several years without any issues I went for it.
