Heard it had way better throw and beam. Wasn’t sure how much I would really need it but after using it on my handgun, I would recommend it to anyone. Lights up a hall way with ease but also light an outside area just as well. The focused beam really does let you get an ID much easier.

Got my pistol light in the mail and I am not disappointed! I was running a Streamlight TLR1-HL and when I changed to this light - it seemed much lighter. I noticed myself not ND'ing the light as much with this light compared to the TLR1, which has a gave me a boost in confidence when drawing out of the holster! I can see why people recommend the light, you get what you pay for! Part of the SureFire X300 family now - 10 out of 10 would recommend if you want to invest in your equipment!

Mounted to SW R8 with inverted riser, initially concerningly loose with the pre-fit mounts but an easy swap to picatinny made for a rock solid fit. Easy, super bright, functional pattern, highly recommend
