Kicks butt as a light. Switch is way more stiff than other lights I have. Momentary function is difficult to use as it requires more force than I feel is necessary. seems very solid and locks onto my 92x rdo very nicely with the screw and the mounting piece which was included in the box. super happy with this product so far since i’ve never bothered splurging on a WML before. i’ll have to try out some more surefire products for sure. this turbo variant has a very focused beam which is very good for identifying things in the woods at long distances

Excellent!!

I have several of the Surefire X300 standard light. I pulled the trigger on this X300T and am very impressed! It has a much more focused beam and the Turbo is noticeable brighter. Works great on a full size pistol.

Light intensity and overall quality

I own the TLR HPX and recently bought this surefire, after comparing the 2 i would strongly recommend getting the streamlight instead. more lumens, higher candela, comes with rechargeable batteries, assuming you get the 1300 USB LED version, and build quality is about the same. Tho the surefire has a slightly sturdier build to it. and the HPX is slightly larger and runs pretty hot.

I own the TLR HPX and recently bought the surefire Series B, after comparing the 2 i would strongly recommend getting the Streamlight instead, It has higher lumens, more candela, and comes with rechargeable batteries assuming you get the 1300 lumen LED version, and has the same battery runtime. it is also almost half the price with the current sale. the build quality is also nearly identical. The only downside is the HPX is slightly larger and runs pretty hot. Really the only upside to getting the surefire is it comes in the tacticool tan. where as the streamlight HPX is only in black.

More effective lighting

I used both the X300 Ultra and X300 Turbo in low-light training sessions. The turbo focused the light into a tight area, enabling faster target acquisition. The difference is immense when applied as intended.

The second benefit is being less likely to blind yourself to reflection.

great light

What else can you say about the x300 variants that hasn’t been said before. I have a few along with other brands and let’s be honest, for 99% of us they all pretty much do the job. Esthetics wise, the x300, modlite and the cloud defensive epl wins in a tie. Price wise the epl takes it with all the discounts you can find online. If the x300 was $100 less it would take the cake every time, which is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
