Helicoil threads
Both Helicoils were damaged during installation of my Holosun 507. The threads on the mount are too big, so helicoils are inserted to reduce them down to the correct size. The Holosun screws have a threadlock paste on them that locked up the helicoils. While trying to turn the screws in it got so tight I thought the threads might have been cross threaded. After about 30 minutes of wire brushing the screws, turning them in, backing them out, and repeating, I was able to scrape most of the threadlock off, but also broke the thin, non-helicoiled threads at the top of the mount, as well as damagin...

Optic Mount
Used this to mount a Holosun 507 Comp to a Benelli M4; optic sits nice and low, mount seems sturdy. I only gave it four stars because I haven't shot it yet and cannot attest to robustness of the mount.

Picatinny Clamp Failed
The removable clamp that tightens the mount to the picatinny rail failed and split horizontally causing the mount to come off the rail.

What more to say, but it works. I purchased a Swampfox red dot for my Ruger Mark IV 22/45, and this mount allowed me to mount it to the picatinny railing.

Ive heard reviews about some screws not fitting. The screws are tight for good reason. Unit its well mounted on top of my Ruger Mark IV. Instawas easy as could be. Price is right. I highly recommend this product.

Swampfox Base
Works perfectly with the Swampfox sights. This base is easy to install and will utilize the torx key that comes with the Swampfox sights. This Swampfox base provides a very nice low mount that on the M1 carbine allow your cheek to easily rest on the wood stock.

mount is ok at best
Thought id take the chance because of how low profile this mount was. The finish is pretty good, but the screw holes are drilled and tapped to a larger size and there is actually heli coils in the holes to adapt down to the correct size. Also the torx key that was sent to tighten the mount was… pretty much useless its so cheap, but that’s just a nitpick.
