Most Helpful Positive Review Great optic
Definitely well worth the money. Very clear and well built. Only issue is a slight fisheye on the 1x power. I have purchased other optics from Swampfox since this one and not disappointed at all with the quality.

SwampFox is a underrated optic. This surpassed my expectations.

by Johnny D, from NY, United States Written on April 23, 2022
I was pleasantly surprised by both how clear the glass is and how bright the green illumination is in this SwampFox LPVO 1-10x24. Mounts up nice with my new MidWest Industries QD offset mount. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an lpvo, especially that its priced less than comparable optics.

6 month review

by Rick G, Verified Owner from VT, United States Written on April 10, 2022
So far I really like my newest ar-15 addition, the time with my swampfox arrowhead 1x10 has been used mainly shooting 55gr 5.56 ammo, at ranges up to 200 yards, and its held perfect zero! The built in range holds are very near perfect for ball ammo, so I switched to the best ammo I have, 77 gr Sierra match king, and it didn't disappoint! Hitting sub moa at 200 yards using only the 200 yard hold over, no dialing in from my 100 yard zero, and all 5 shots landed within an inch circle. It did me a few shots to find where my 200 yard hold is on the reticle but once found its held true over 300 rounds so far. I love this scope, and hope this helps some people on the fence with purchasing a new companies products, but swampfox doesn't disappoint!
Pros:
  • Clear glass, crisp adjustments, perfect hold overs
Cons:
  • None
  • None that I've seen, and with the warranty
Best Used for:
  • Bench shooting, hunting, shooting sports

Swampfox optics are impressive

by NCimino, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 12, 2022
I purchased the Tomahawk 1-6 for my first purchase. I feel in love with it and upgraded to the Arrowhead 1-10 Green BDC. Holds Zero on my AR 15. I bought another Arrowhead 1-10 for my AR-10. Works perfectly! The locking Turrets, Turret zeroing and clicks are amazing. The price is unbeatable. Can’t wait for the FFP LPVO upcoming, will defiantly upgrade on both riffles at that time.
Pros:
  • Turrets, Glass and Price
Cons:
  • Its Second Focal Plane only
Best Used for:
  • All shooting, Targets, paper etc

Gimmicky 10x, faulty illumination.

by Agent Sneed, from TN, United States Written on February 14, 2022
I really want to like this scope, it's light, the dials are very nice and.. that's about where it ends.

The glass clarity isn't nearly as good as my Burris, and the 10x is a huge gimmick. Not that much different from 6x in terms of being able to "spot" things, but boy is it much more unforgiving than 6x.

The illumination came faulty, with multiple battery swaps still not fixing it. The illumination would randomly cut out when the gun was held certain ways, or if it was jostled even a bit. I don't know how QC didn't catch this - I returned the scope.

I'm not swearing off Swampfox, but this is really disappointing.
Pros:
  • Lightweight, good dials
Cons:
  • 10x isn't useful, illumination came broken

Solid Scope

by Scotty, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on December 11, 2021
Mounted this on an AR-10, and it zeroed quickly and held its zero just fine. Glass was better than I expected, I would say it was comparable to Vortex Strike Eagle Glass, and it was accurate out to 500 yards on steel. It was windy today, and the reticle was helpful, and easy to use. I like the power on and off option in between each brightness setting, so you don't have to dial all the way up or down to get powered down. I also like the throw lever built in, and the scope caps with it. I prefer MIL over MOA, and was pleased with the reticle and focus as well. All it really needs it to come with some rings or a mount, and it would be 5 stars.
Best Used for:
  • LPVO AR platform

Awesome scope

by Dragonw4g, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on July 7, 2021
This is a well built rugged scope. No little turret screws parts are big and durable. The lock down Turrets unlock by pulling the turret away from scope and it locks into upper position allowing turret adjustment. They can lock while rotating cap to zero when zeroing rifles. Out of all the scopes I have used, this one optimizes Night Vision exceptionally well. With front mounted Night Vision the picture and brightness transferred amazingly. I have only put about 50 rounds through it with a suppressor so far so great. 1-10 power makes a super versatile package. I attached IR laser and the dot in the scope doesnt wash it out you can actually see the laser dot through crosshair dot. Includes a reticle training manual with some blank ballistics pages so you can custom fill in for your rounds and rifle. Cool Transfer stickers too lol:)

Great Scope for the Money

by Steven, from TX, United States Written on June 12, 2021
I wanted something with a little more mag power than my Nikon Blackforce 1000 (4X). Nikon glass sets a pretty high bar so I was looking forward to seeing the optics side by side. Both are 30mm tubes so my Burris AR mount stayed in the mix for the swap.

I have to say the glass in this scope is very good, I went with the MIL reticle in red and found the sighting process to be quick and easy, moving from 50 to 100 yards in about 5-6 rounds for 1"-2" groups in bench shooting. I'm shooting at 10X so exit pupil and eye relief are a factor, I prefer to shoot as close to the objective as I can so mount adjustment was critical. It's set up now, though and working great.

I liked the adjustment turrets a little better on my old Nikon, but for the money spent for 10X the Swampfox setup works just fine.
Pros:
  • Good optics, solid build, price
Cons:
  • Turrets have to be pulled off to re-zero

For the money

by Jason Hendricks, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on May 5, 2021
Very fine optic. The glass is clear and the eye relief is very good. I currently have it mounted on an Edgun rifle. The zoom from 1 to 10 is very smooth. I would put this up against my Vortex pst. The zeroing of the turrets 8s a piece of cake
Pros:
  • Easy use turrets
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • AR15 platform
  • High end PCP

Finally Found You

by Big Boy, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on May 4, 2021
I have been looking for a while to find a budget optic with quality. I finally found it in the Swampfox 1-10x24. After watching hundreds of reviews and articles on LPVOs I settled on this one. I am not disappointed. The glass quality is great it was very close to true right out of the box. Installation was simple with the Swampfox cantilever I paired it with. Absolutely love this optic.
