Chris's Review of Swampfox Blade 1x25mm Prism Scope
The Swampfox Blade has a very odd 'shift' of the point of view. When bringing the scope up in front your eye, everything seen through the scope is shifted left from the point you were looking at. In other words, if you are focused on a target and then bring the Scope up in front of your eye, everything in the scope is left of where your eye is pointed, and you have to actually shift your eye to to the left to re-focus on the target. Unfortunately, I was past the 30 day return before I tested the scope and found this out. Fortunately, with moderate jumping through hoops, Swampfox replaced it. Unfortunately, the second one did the same exact thing! While I suppose it is usable, having to shift the point your eye is looking at every time you look through the scope is awkward. And if you use the Bindon Aiming Concept, it really wacks out your eyes as you see two of the target side by side; one with your non-dominant eye and then one shifted to the left through the scope. Wish I could get my money back...
