Most Helpful Positive Review Swampfox Blade Prism
The astigmatism in my right eye made looking through red dot sights a miserable experience. I wanted a 1x prism optic with an etched BDC reticle and shake-awake technology. The Swampfox Blade Prism fit the bill. Over 1000 rounds through my 11.5" AR pistol and this optic is still going strong! My big...

Most Helpful Negative Review Optic moves everything left
The Swampfox Blade has a very odd 'shift' of the point of view. When bringing the scope up in front your eye, everything seen through the scope is shifted left from the point you were looking at. In other words, if you are focused on a target and then bring the Scope up in front of your eye, every...

Blade 1x25mm Prism Scope

by JackL, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on August 13, 2025
I will be 83 yeears young in October. I am hacing eye problems and it looks like a Prism Scope is the answer. Where my current red dot is not round anymore, the Prism Optic is crystal clear. I am going to put a 3x magnifer in front of the Prism and hope that works. I wish the manufactures could figure out how to make a variable 1x thru 8x that worked like a 1st Focal Plane optic.
Pros:
  • Crystal clear and easy to operate.
Cons:
  • Only 1x

Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • none yet
Best Used for:
  • the cqb hold overs for hd and varmits

Swampfox blade 1x prism

by NA, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on February 9, 2025
I tried two of these and I really wanted to like this optic but the glass was too bad on both to use with both eyes open. I saw double no matter what. I own other 1x prisms without this problem. I really liked the design and how the battery compartment is in the mount. The design is sturdy and there are videos showing its durability but the glass was unusable with both eyes open.
Pros:
  • Good construction and design
Cons:
  • Can't use with both eyes open
Would recommend: No

best bang for your buck

by ogconor, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on January 2, 2025
This is the first prism optic I’ve ever owned and it blows me away. I always had red dots, and they always looked like terrible. always just figured I had low quality optics but then learned about astigmatism. This is so good, for me, it blows any red dot out of the water. The 6moa ring is great for super close quarters with holds at distances out to the 50/200 zero. Green for me
Pros:
  • Price
  • CQB
  • astigmatism friendly
Cons:
  • size

Great close range option

by Adam, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on November 2, 2024
The is a great prism optic. The etched reticle and auto on are fantastic. The lenses is very clear and set back far enough is as seamless as a red dot. It seems like it wall be a little bulky but the sight picture is phenominal.
Pros:
  • Great clarity and accuracy
Cons:
  • A little heavy
Best Used for:
  • Closer range

Crisp Reticle

by Kody, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on July 1, 2024
I like the motion activation aspect for a bedside gun. The reticle is clean and the CQB dots are a nice feature. 4 stars because it’s a little on the heavier side. For reference it’s double the weight of a Primary Arms microprism. Still, would recommend to anyone looking for something cost effective that’s still a performer.
Pros:
  • CQB and mid-range engagements
  • Reticle and clarity
Cons:
  • weight
Best Used for:
  • CQB and distances out to 100 meters
Would recommend: Yes
