tee's Review of Swampfox Kentucky Long 3-18x50mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, First Focal Plane (FFP)

I've now had this scope a year and feel that I can give valuable feedback.

Let me start by saying that this is my 3rd Swampfox product. I have a micro-red dot and an LPVO which I am highly satisfied. My choice in selecting this scope was narrowed down simply by availability. I would have been fine with the Vortex or Primary Arms but the Swampfox was available while the other two weren't. BTW I've got plenty of Vortex and Primary Arms to compare with. So for the review...

Pros:
Glass - Glass is great. Was hunting 3 weeks ago and took a doe at about a hundred. Well within this scopes ability. I noticed that in low light conditions the scope collects more light than my expensive bino's did. I've not taken this scope out to extreme long ranges so I can't speak to that.
Ruggedness - built like a tank and takes falls, bumps, throwing around and above average rough handling. I've never tortured this scope but it feels like it could handle harsh treatment.
Turrets - In a word awesome. There isn't any slop on the clicks and they are audible. I love the zero adjustment reset feature.
Reticle - I love the reticle. I have the MOA but for those who utilize dope adjustments or can calculate accurate holdovers then this reticle is actually one of the best I've ever used. I'm confident in my shot placement and trust it.
Accessories - I found that the added throw levers was huge plus. I upgraded by bolt handle and found that I needed to go with the smaller throw lever. Swampfox already thought about that and included a small and large to select from. Also included decent flip caps, lock-tite, Allen wrench's, instruction guide and 2 stickers.

Cons:
If I have to add a con then I will say that the eye box is very good in lower powers and is good when dialing into higher magnification. T
