I was excited to see just how good this sight was compared to the holosun 507c that I intended to replace it with. So it should be worth pointing out that the equivalent to the 507c is the OSlight C but I desired a smaller profile and a closed emitter model so I went with the SE. The clarity of the glass on the SE is much better than the 507c and there is zero fish bowl effect. In fact I didn't realize how distorted the 507c was until I started using this sight. Its super crisp. I've also shot several hundred rounds through and zero issues. Out of the box it was spot on so no adjustments were needed. I love it so much I bought a second one. Whatever Osight is doing they are doing it right. BTW I mounted it on a gen5 Glock 19.

I hate when I'm really excited about an order and when it comes in I'm kind of let down. That happened with this product.... I'm not totally deflated but I expected more for the cost and better quality from FAB.
PROS:
Looks good
Push button folding mech is easy to reach and manipulate
Folds to the left of the rifle unlike the original stock
It doesn't hurt to shoot anymore
CONS:
The folding mech in some kind of poly and I prefer some parts to be steel
the stock wiggles a bit on the "fake buffer" tube. I have the same stock on an AR and it is rock solid. After inspecting the tube I realized it is a bit thinner than the Mil spec buffer tube. Come on FAB! That's an easy engineering oversight.
Not cheap. I bought mine on DVOR so I got a good deal but if I paid retail for it I would have been more disappointed.
The mounting block doesn't fully seat as it should. It's functional but a there is a hairline gap between it and the receiver.
Bottom line is the original bar stock freaking hurts to shoot if you have a check weld. This fixes that problem. With a bit more attention to detail this could have been an awesome product but as is... its mid.

I've now had this scope a year and feel that I can give valuable feedback.
Let me start by saying that this is my 3rd Swampfox product. I have a micro-red dot and an LPVO which I am highly satisfied. My choice in selecting this scope was narrowed down simply by availability. I would have been fine with the Vortex or Primary Arms but the Swampfox was available while the other two weren't. BTW I've got plenty of Vortex and Primary Arms to compare with. So for the review...
Pros:
Glass - Glass is great. Was hunting 3 weeks ago and took a doe at about a hundred. Well within this scopes ability. I noticed that in low light conditions the scope collects more light than my expensive bino's did. I've not taken this scope out to extreme long ranges so I can't speak to that.
Ruggedness - built like a tank and takes falls, bumps, throwing around and above average rough handling. I've never tortured this scope but it feels like it could handle harsh treatment.
Turrets - In a word awesome. There isn't any slop on the clicks and they are audible. I love the zero adjustment reset feature.
Reticle - I love the reticle. I have the MOA but for those who utilize dope adjustments or can calculate accurate holdovers then this reticle is actually one of the best I've ever used. I'm confident in my shot placement and trust it.
Accessories - I found that the added throw levers was huge plus. I upgraded by bolt handle and found that I needed to go with the smaller throw leve

Installed this in a PSA Daggar. I've ran several hundred rounds through it and like its movement and feel. I have a McNally in my g19 that costs a bit more than this and its compares closely with it. It was a dream to install too.

Purchased for my Savage Axis with a heavy barrel. The barrel channel was a bit tight so I had to sand it to ensure that it was truly floated. While I was sanding it I took the opportunity to change the color. I wasn't thrilled with the black paint that boyd's uses... its not truly flat and had a little shininess to it.
Also, there is a red bead that is the safety indicator that should sit under the movement of the safety. It wasn't properly seated in the stock and sat so high that it prevented the safety to be engaged. I remove it and reset it flush with the stock and now it works perfectly.
I like the stock... its a bit heavy but still usable. If the Magpul stock is ever released then I'll probably move to that one.

I prefer prism optics over red dots because a couple reasons But they've had their cons until this model. the good: The etched reticle always allows for use.. Even when bats fail. They are built tough as nails. No moving parts. The bad WAS eye relief, size was usually bigger than red dots, and weight.
I bought this with the magnifier and I've loved it. The eye relief is amazing and paired with the magnifier I can reach out to about 200 yrs with confidence any further it gets a bit tough. The hardest part was getting the magnifier set with the sight. It took me about an hour but once set it was good to go.
I recommend this site.

I bought this as an after thought as I was checking out so I "assumed" this thing would be like the plastic equivalent to the small ammo cans on sell at most stores..... I was wrong. Its awesome and I actually like it but read the dimensions before buying. Its about half the length of one of the small cans you see at wally world. The previous reviewer was right in that it will hold about 200 - 250 rounds of nine. I actually like having a small one around but wasn't aware I was getting the MINI version. Its my fault and the quality is good so I'll rate it as such.

Had an old heavy quad picatinny rail system on one of my uppers. Bought this and it really improved the carry functionality and appearance. Its extremely solid and feels nice in your hands. The contour gives good feedback you your hands as your shouldering to make a shot.
The tough part is this... If you don't have a hand guard tool then be prepared to exercise patience and strength while you are removing the old AND replacing the new.

Went from red dots to prisms several years ago and started getting tired of a fixed magnification setup. Went with an LPVO solution and the weight was significantly noticed. As a result I tried the HOLOSUN ACSS red dot with this 3X and holy Scrap! For running and gunning I love it. Its fast, light and it works! After setting it up and drilling with it the first word out of my mouth was WOW. granted the ACSS red dot contributes to the wow factor but it wouldn't be affective without magnification. I will probably by this again or the titanium model that Holosun offers.
Pros
Quick to engage
Light on your rifle
Stays out of the way when u need it
Clarity it good
Con
Mount could be be beefier but it works great and I have no complaints. If I was looking to improve I wouldn't touch the scope but improve the mount

I've owned this stock for 15 years now. Bought it was Delton was brand new and they had a sale on it. I have never regretted the purchase and proudly use it still! Let me give pro's and con's
PROS:
Built like an Abrams tank! I would say that it would take more abuse than the rifle itself.
Firm. no wiggle or jiggle.
Good looking but not Gucci pretty! Just like its owner :)
Foam and rubber hasn't softened or turned brittle over the years. Apart from the scratches its earned, it functions as brand new!
Much Lighter and smaller footprint than the UBR. Its easier to manage and it finds its place in my shoulder quicker than the UBR.
CONS:
I have the SOCOM and the Magpul UBR. I love them both equally but find the UBR more feature friendly.
Price is now as much with stocks that have more features... i.e. the UBR and that fancy strike industries stock.
The UBR is easier to deploy... not that the SOCOM is difficult but the button to adjust the length is smaller and I find myself looking for it.
Mine doesn't have the QD feature and i don't see one in the model advertised. not sure if it does tho.
Foam check rest doesn't offer full coverage. You won't experience beard pull but on some cold mornings you may wield to a bit of cold metal... my wife says "suck it up hero".
Hope this helps... if you're on the fence and fall for the SOCOM you won't be disappointed. You'll be one of the few kids on the block with the toughest stock!
