This is an important accessory for anyone who plans to mount a camera to the eyepiece of a Swarovski scope. It makes it possible to shift the center of gravity of the scope on the tripod forward, so the camera's weight won't pull the scope out of alignment. It is adjustable for however much counterbalance is needed.
Pros: counterbalances for weight of a camera
Cons: screw fastening occasionally loosens
