To install the objective lens cover, you have to remove the scope. This is a terrible feature. The ocular lens covers is bulky. It gets in the way of the bolt when the bolt is cycled. When you spend $2k+ on a rifle scope and $100 for each lens cover, you expect much more.

All of us who have a rifle scope know you must have covers to protect the lens, However, when I shell out $3,200 for a high quality scope; I expect the covers to be included with my purchase. Instead Swarovski Optik has the gall to charge us just under one hundred dollars each for flip up covers on the ocular and objective lens. It's shameful on the company's part! They do give you a set of Bikini clear lens covers, but we all know how long they last, if you don't lose them first. The covers themselves are built with the quality I expect from Swarovski. They fit and look very nice; but I have to say, anyone who buys such a precision instrument at such a high price point, should be getting the flip up covers with the scope.That's all I can say about the covers, and where I stand on their pricing. It's a good thing the Scope is the finest scope I have ever used!
