Most Helpful Positive Review Best 2x7 on the market
If you really think about it, why are you in the market for a 2-7 scope? Why, I would think for the wide angle of 2 power. Problem is every scope out there has a very narrow FOV. All are about 43 ft at 2x including the Bushnell elite. Only 2 that I can find with a 60 ft FOV at 2x is the Busnell Legend 2-7x32mm and this Swift 2-7x40mm. Orignally I bought the Busnell Elite but it was like looking through a straw. I sent that back and got the swift. Hands down the best one on the market. It holds it's zero well on my Weatherby Mark V 7mm-08. It is also the only 40mm scope in 2x that I know of. Th...

Buying my fourth one!...Its been a great Scope, I use it on rifle, muzzle-loader and my shotgun
Best 2 x 7 on the market, the 40mm objective lens is the right size for most everyday hunters

You wont be disappointed

Excellant 2 to mid power scope

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on November 20, 2010
I bought this scope at a steal for $139 two years ago for my Thompson Triumph muzzleloader. I didn't need super magnification for my muzzleloader because most of my shots are 125 yards or less. I think clarity is good and it has excellant low light visibility. The only 2-7 40mm objective available other than a few 300$ and up scopes.
Pros: Clear image and great low light visibility
Cons: None

Good Optics

by Legacy Reviewer, from SC, United States Written on November 10, 2010
I have found this scope very usable with my Remington 550 at ranges less that 100 yds. It has great optics and holds it's zero perfectly. I find 2 power useful for finding game in trees and elsewhere, and then jacking it up to 7 very quickly for the shot. I dropped the scope down some steps the other day, bending the mount. I fixed the mount, scraped off the paint from the steps with steel wool and re-zeroed the scope. It was undamaged and functioned perfectly. The finish is excellent. I plan to purchase a more powerful swift for my Remington 700.
Pros: Usable Power Range
Cons: Not for very long range

2-7x40mm is the cats meow!!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 10, 2009
This scope tightened my 100 yard group by two inches! Lenses are extremely clear. The 40mm is great for up close and personal shots, such as twenty-five yards. Has very good eye relief, great if your using a hundred and fifty grains of powder in a muzzlerloader! I highly recommend this scope to all my buddies who are using muzzleloaders and slug guns, it has held up for me so far!!
Pros: Zero parallax at 100 yards
