Swift 20x80 BWCF Satellite Binocular 846
The Satellite exemplifies the way a 20x80 glass should look and perform. Its 3.5' FOV is a 70' apparent --wide angle by Japanese or European/USA standards. Astronomical sights sit like gems in the sky. Nebulas glow , the Moon appears 11-12000 miles away, distant "sticks" or "poles" on the horizon resolve as masts, water towers, chimneys etc. easily. The case is good.
When on a tripod, watch that the control handle is tight to prevent the binos falling forward. Central focus moves smoothly and diopter adjustment is excellent.
Pros: wide field, great optics, easy to focus, good looking
Cons: Could be more rugged -------
