This was my first mil-dot scope, so wasn't sure what to expect. I've had this scope for about 4 years, so I have some experience with this scope. I really like the 30mm tube for durability and the overall size is ideal for the Ruger Hawkeye in 257 Roberts which it's currently mounted on. I've had this scope on a 375 Ruger, a 264 win Mag and a 338 Win Mag., and it held up very well for about 3 1/2 years before the eyepiece loosened up on me. The scope still still functioned just fine and never fogged up, however the lose eyepiece wasn't right. I called swift and their customer service is very considerate and polite to deal with. I sent them a scope with a $25 check, and they happily sent me a new scope. No problems at all. Optically, the scope is very clear throughout the adjustment range. No discernible bluriness that my eyes can detect. The eye relief is adequate at 3 1/2", however if it was 4" that would be better. I like the medium turrets. The click adjustments seem to be pretty close, not quite as firm or positive as some higher end scopes, however, to me, not something I'm overly concerned with. It could, maybe be a problem if I was using the turrets to dial in different ranges constantly. Can't really comment on how good light transfers in low light situations, but to date, it hasn't been a problem during legal shooting hours.
