Muzzle brake
I like the looks of this tacfire muzzle brake. I put it on a DPMS 308 sass 18” barrel to complete my custom build. This is a very heavy bull barrel and my largest concern would be where the barrel and muzzle meet. The tacfire muzzle brake fits like a glove it has a wide base that meets the bull barrel perfectly. The gas ports work well to reduce muzzle jump as well as debris from muzzle blast. It directs gas up and out the side not down. Crush washer is included. I give it 5 stars

tacfire 5/8x24 thread muzzle brake
The brake I got was stainless steel very well made for the money that works great for controlling muzzle climb and looks great on my stainless ar-10. I didnt give it 5 stars because it came with the wrong size crush washer it came with a 1/2x28 size for some reason so I used a nut I had from another brake.

Purchased the Tacfire Muzzle Brake from Optics Planet and installed it on my .308 semi-auto AR style rifle. Very easy to install and works great to hold down the muzzle and divert the flash. Would highly recommend it.

Muzzle brake
Fit my ar chambered in 762x39! It look good on the rifle. FYI Use some tape when you install the muzzle brake so you don't scratch the finish. I have not shot the rifle yet so I plan to this weekend so I will update next time.

ALMOST perfect
It is exactly what i was looking to get. a huge over-the-top muzzle brake for an AR10. It is definitely going to serve it's purpose properly. BUT I had to spend over an hour with metal finishing it. It came with some sharp burrs on it. I had to dremel them off. NBD. the surface of the whole thing was pretty dinged up. thats where i spent most of my time. I stoned the top and bottom surfaces flat then polished it all around. the one i got didnt look as good as the one pictured before. but now its great and has a mirror finish to match the barrel.
also it came with a 1/2" crush washer instead of the correct 5/8" one.

Wrong sized crush washer
Overall great product. However, they did send me the wrong sized crush washer. It was 1/2in not 5/8in. This required me to separately purchase the correct sized crush washer. Once installed, the muzzle brake performed correctly and reduced the kick quite a bit.

Super Brake
Installed this on an 18" AR 7.62X39 upper. Recoil is less than a 223 AR. You just don't want to be on the bench next to me - due to the noise. It would be easier to install if supplied with a lock nut to position the muzzle brake rather than a crush washer.

muzzle brake
works great. had a few cosmetic scratches on the top or rub marks. is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. great deal for the money. thanks optics planet. Boy is it loud though. once again does the job , almost no recoil

Tacfire 5/8-24 Threada Tanker Muzzle Brake
Bigger than I anticipated but I will find a firearm to put this on as I am currently building 6 AR15's. Looks good but had some dings and scratches. Will buff these out and it will be good to go. I kinda like that it is big.
