Product works as advertised and I like it, but the inside of the rail is very shiny and works like a mirror . The left inside picks up the right reflection and the right picks up the left and it’s very distracting. I applied flat black spray paint to the inside of the rail and it helped .

Not see through
The model UPC: 811261021839 is not see through. The bolt to secure it goes in from the bottom and totally obscures the iron sight picture. I can’t speak on the other model but this one is garbage unless you don’t care about still having your irons available.
Ar15 Handle Scope Mount
The Scope Mount fits my AR15 Handle Fine. And my Scope fits on the mount perfectly.

Not very good
Simple U shaped channel but the screw is a shade too long coming up from the bottom. It merges in with the front sight post. If you don't want to use the irons, it's ok I guess but if you're looking for duality, look elsewhere. Not a one star, 1/2 star more like it.

Finally found one at a fair price
I had somehow mislaid my AR scope mount and began looking for another. If at all available, they were at ridiculous prices. When I found this at Optic Planet it was exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. Purchase went very smoothly and shipping was fast. If you are looking for a scope mount base for an AR with a carry handle, this is what you should look at.

Hain't an AR w/out a Carryhandle & Scope
Da AR12BP's Carryhandle needed a mount for the AccuDot.

Delivered as promised
This AR carry handle mount was just a small part of a larger order. When the rest of the order shipped, this one item was back ordered. No problem. I could wait. Took about three weeks and when it did finally arrive, it was exactly as described. I also noticed Optics Planet hadn't charged my credit card UNTIL they shipped it. I mean, it was only $12 or so, wouldn't have bothered me if they had.
It is, however, a mark as to how they do business. I know they've got mine as long as they do things like this.

too loose of a fit
I needed a scope mount for my 1984 Colt AR with more mounting slots. The Tacfire mount is .036 inch narrower than the original I purchased with the rifle. Even screwed down tightly, the mount rocks from side to side in the handle and will not work.

Awesome Picatinny Rail
Fit on my handle perfect allowed me to mount my Burris AR-332 scope and still use my peep sight. The mount is quality made and is a great fit. Thanks to the folks here at Optic Planet they always come through with a great item.

Great product!!
Works great, nice product at a great value. Love that you can look through it to be able to use stock sights. Bolts on extremely easy. Very sturdy. If you have the factory carrying handle this is exactly what you need.
