For years I've used another company's similarly designed buffer tubes (PWS). With the exception of one or two subtle differences, most buffer tubes are the same. I'm pleased to find a buffer tube with the feature of the higher priced brand, for a budget minded build.

Outside diameter is an eighth of an inch (.125") too big for SB Tactical braces like the SB15 and SBM4. Too big to squeeze even with oil or baby powder. Perfect size for a Shockwave Blade if you dimple it or just over-tighten.
Otherwise, the foam slides off with a little effort and the tube seems to be well made. Unfortunately it did not work for my purpose. Did not try the QD socket.
I don't know why they don't just publish the diameter in the specs.
Cons:
- Does not fit SB Tactical braces

I ordered this tube to mount a pistol brace. The Shockwave Blade is a bit oversized for this tube. Or the tube is a bit undersized. Either way, if you dimple the tube it works great. It threads right into the lower thread pattern and even has a notch to locate on the buffer detent. Also, this one WILL accept a castle nut. I've heard other versions have a shoulders that go right up to the back of the lower receiver and leave no room for a castle nut, thereby leaving it vulnerable to loosening from shooting. The tube came with the foam/rubber sleeve, but I'm trying to find some other use for it. Obviously this is not on the expensive side (although, I think any more than $5 for an aluminum tube with threading is absolute robbery), but it works. Haven't shot it on an AR platform but I'm sure it has no issues. I put it on a vector SDP. Thanks ATF.

For the money, this part is works fine and looks decent on the pistol. It seems to be made from a thinner material than Mil-Spec tubes, but that may be because it is for a pistol, but a good hit will probably put a good dent in it. Nothing to worry about if you take care when using your pistol, like you should, and aren't throwing it around.
