Most Helpful Negative Review
Failed design
The rearward angle of the latch extension is so great that when trying to pull the charging handle your fingers literally slip off defeating the entire purpose of the design. Reinstalled the OEM latch until I get a "working" replacement.
Looks good--but,
Highly disappointed in the pull handle position/angle once you begin to disengage the latch. Poorly designed and definitely not worth the effort or the money. Saddened by the fact that you have have a minimum number of characters to get this posted.
Pros:
- It's made of ferrous metal.
Cons:
- Poorly thought out

Tacfire AR15 Steel Tactical Latch
Very well made and attractive. Longer than I expected which is a good thing. Came with not 1 but 2 roll pins. (I've purchase other styles that came with no roll pins for installation.) Excellent value. Better made and designed than more expensive versions I've tried. I would definitely recommend.
