I ordered this Complete slide in April with an expected delivery of mid May and an actual delivery in late July. I understand that back ordered items don’t always ship when expected, so no harm no foul. The extra waiting gave me time to get more exited, and then it finally came, a finely crafted TacFire slide wrapped in the thinnest packing envelope possible, The result? A brilliantly designed, well weighted, perfectly assembled dinged and scratched mess. Both the front and rear sights are missing large swaths of finish and are badly damaged, misshaped and rough to the touch. The front of the slide also has some finish missing from the edges. I did not want to write a review until I had tested the product but the random delivery date coincided with a vacation and the closure of my shooting spot due to fires. So here I am a month later letting you know that the TacFire slide is beautifully designed and assembled but the shipping mistake made it an eyesore that will need new front and rear sights to even be functional.
