Poorman's Kaw Valley Linear Compensator - maybe not as refined looking finish, but I like the knurled texture and helical cuts around the cylindar shape. Performs as KVP linear compenstor, seems to work just like it, but at half the price.
Now granted the 'extended KVP compensators' can act like sorta a "silencer-can" so that's something TacFire guys don't replicate (yet, *wishlist*).
By "linear compensator + can" I mean devices like SureFire Warden compensator systems, but more affordable.
Anyway, these shoots just fine - i have both .223 and .308 - good value linear comp.

- good similar to KVP linear compensator, night weight, directs gas and noise forward
Cons:
- none so far, half the price of KVP linear comp, similar performance

- shooting!
