you'd get better quality from an air soft set up
High quality mounts wouldn't even come close to snapping into the shroud. Extremely uncomfortable. Very poor quality.buckles were flimsy and easily went in the wrong way and would get stuck. Spend the extra money on a higher quality helmet. The factory pvs 14 skull crusher works better and that is saying something.
Great Helmet, Great Customer Service
This is a great light weight non ballistic helmet for mounting your NVG's or just protecting you noggin from bumps and so on.
The customer service was awesome as well. I lost my order number and put in my email address wrong(I'm super smart), with one quick phone call to customer service they corrected my email and got me all the info to track my order. And it arrived right on schedule.

It's a helmet designed for airsoft...
I bought this having an idea what I was getting... A plastic helmet that kids wear when playing army.
My intended use is for rafting. I dremelled a hole into the top and mounted my garmin virb waterproof case to it. Worked great. The hard plastic shell is relatively thick and the pads are similar to those you'd see in a bike helmet... Not terrible. I think my noggin will be relatively well protected from a good knock in the river, and my virb will record it. That's what I bought it for and I think it'll work ok.
The NVG mount is airsoft junk... Won't fit my pvs14 rhino arm... So no playing with goggles while wearing it. The mount could probably be dremelled to fit - but not worth the time. If I'm rolling 'aided' I'll go with something other than a plastic helmet.
I give the Velcro about a week on the water before I let it fall off and continue not to care about it.
The price is a little ridiculous, but it's cheaper than other bump helmets... Eh. Ask me after next summer how well this project works out...
