Worth the money
Tacstar adapter fit my 870 very well. It has a nice appearance and is well built. The adapter is a bit heavy, but the extra weight is is a small price to pay for the durability of a machined aluminum piece that won't strip out or break. I will be purchasing another tacstar adapter another 870.

Great piece. Extremely happy with this adapter. The slight added weight helps with recoil. Just as good as the competitors which is double the price. If you are looking for a high quality AR style adapter for your 870, then look no further. This is perfect.

Tougher than expected.
This is a very well made dimensionally and physically. Not a fan of products made in China on my firearms but this piece is solid. Plus it has an affordable price tag. Steel construction is nice in this polymer era. QD sling attachment is very well placed can swap between AR or shotgun easily.

HEAVY Duty
Solid piece and easy installation. Tough construction but its a heavy chunk of metal. Can be a negative but on a Tac 14 its a Pro in recoil management. Your mileage may very. QD mount is firm and solid locking. But if you install a AR grip with a beaver tail, be sure you get a rubber grip or else it won't mold to the fatten section of the adapter.

Well dang... It surpassed my expectations.

I was expecting lower quality. But this impresses me. Good job, TacStar.
My only complaint is that it's a bit on the heavy side. But that's what makes it extremely durable.

All metal construction
But very apparent that it is MIM metal.. no worries though, it was expected at this price point. My only complaint is the angle of the bolt requires a ball end hex key for installation due to the offset of the buffer tube- but this is noted in the instructions.

Half the Price of Mesa Tactical and just as good
Man this thing is made very well, just as good as the Mesa Tactical one and half the price, I wish i knew this before I bought one of the mesa tactical adaptors for my mossberg. I bought this adaptor for my Remington and its just as good, nice and heavy strong metal. The QD attachment point is solid.
