Fits NEF Pardner Pump
The Side Saddle shotgun shell holder for the Remington 870 also fits the New England Firearms Pardner Pump. I bought a Pardner Pump Turkey gun, which is patterned after the Remington 870, and wanted my turkey loads at my fingertips. The TacStar was the perfect option. It's a quality product.

Simple and straight forward product.
Instructions were concise and easy to understand. All of the install hardware was included w/loctite on the trigger pin replacement screw but not on the ejector replacement screw. Finished on my Mossberg 500 in ten minutes. Build quality is nice. The material is closer to a nylon than a harder plastic and I suspect is very durable. As for function, the quality and consistency of the tension on each shell is surprisingly good for such a simple piece of kit. I got exactly what I wanted. No regrets.

Generally a good product
The four shell TacStar side saddle carrier was one of the few options available for 20 gauge Mossberg 500 defensive shotguns. The device went on fairly easily, but I was left wondering why TacStar chose to include such short, hard to cap screws. They could have used longer, more secure screws with acorn caps. A sling swivel stud on the rear screw would have been really classy.

TacStar 4 shel holder for 20ga. youth 870
Bought the 4 shell holder for my sons youth Rem 870 20Ga with slug barrel and scope. Fits perfect, plenty of room for the pump slide to come back when ejecting shell. Soul buy again an considering for my 12Ga.

Fits Benelli Nova
There are not a lot of aftermarket options for the Benelli Nova due to the integrated stock/receiver. Most advertised for the Nova are actually for the SuperNova. This one fits the Nova perfectly and installs without a hitch. Very functional and even secures 3-1/2" magnum shells.

don't waste your time
The molding/template used by TacStar is too tight for quick release and use of the shells (i.e. quick reload). I've left shells in it in the hopes of "stretching it out" but it still doesn't work.
Save up your money and get a Mesa Tactical instead.
