Nice Molle Mag Pouch for a good price

by Speedthing, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on October 25, 2015
I'm fitting out a 5.11 double rifle bag. This pouch will hold 4 AR-15 Magpul Pmags, bit I am using it for AR-10 .308 mags. Holds one LR/SR M3 Magpul mag per pouch, and is tall enough for the new 25-round Magpul .308 mags. I bought two of these... and Optics Planet was, as always, on the ball with stock and delivery.
Pros:
  • TAG makes high quality products
  • Fits taller 25 round .308 mags
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • molle system
  • Perfect PMag fit

Great Pouch

by Legacy Reviewer, from PA, United States Written on June 22, 2011
I am very impressed with TAG's equipment. This pouch is extremely well made. It holds four m4 mags snugly (if that's a word) or two 308 mags (one in each pouch), so I like the versatility. I got the multicam pouch and the flap for the pouch is olive drab, not MC, so that's the only downside, but I don't think you can beat these guys. I have tried Spec Ops, Condor, Blackhawk and a couple others and I think that TAG takes the cake for me. I also like their attachment system for their molle straps. It's tough to explain but after you weave through your molle webbing, you tuck a release strap back up into the webbing with a quick pull tab on it - there is no velcro or buttons on the molle attachment. The webbing is true and it's practically sewn on to the vest at that point in time.
