Not as expected - TAG Plate Carrier

This is a "newer" so called "improved" version per my conversation with Tactical Assault Gear. It is several inches shorter than the "old version" that you may have seen reviewed elsewhere online. Not recommended if you expect this to go past your belly button. I'm thinking maybe "improved" means it costs them less to manufacture, because I would rather have the additional real estate. Now I have to pay shipping to return it to Optics Planet.
