Juan Jose Arcos's Review of TAG Plate Carrier
I was looking for a side opening plate carrier that wasn’t big and bulky as the CIRAS and let me tell you the TAG PC is your best option.
The PC is very comfortable and easy to adjust, when you have it set in the right spot it feels like made for your body and on top of that the shoulder pads are even better, a lot of padding so that you don’t feel the weight.
There is a ton of MOLLE real estate for mounting whatever pouch you want. It doesn’t have a “real” cummerbund, but the side flaps are more than enough for you to mount other pouches.
The front and back plate pockets are able to accommodate any plate securely, from small to XL and it won’t move no matter the plate size. I found the side plate pockets not that great, first of, I’ve never heard of the 7’’ x 6.5’’ plate, but that’s me.

Pros:
- EXTREMELY comfortable
- A lot of MOLLE space
Cons:
- Side plate pockets are too little
- No matching webbing
Would Recommend:
Yes
