I can't speak for the entire product run but the one I received must have skipped all QA inspection. It intruded into the magazine well such that the magazine would drag requiring significant force to be seated. This left a long deep scratch in the magazine (PMAG). I fixed this by filing away almost 1/16" of it where necessary to get a proper fit. Before I got to that point however I had to enlarge the roll pin hole. It was not even close to large enough to tap in the pin. I realize it is supposed to be a tight fit but there was no chance the supplied pin would fit through. I inspected the hole with it properly placed into several lowers of various brands and could clearly see a much smaller hole. This was not the case with the other ones I removed for comparison. It looks good, very cool guard, but fit was rediculoous. I'm too impatient and not concerned about the cost so I didn't even consider returning it, but I will choose a different manufacturer next time and replace this one the next time I ordered some gun parts.
