I decided to get a threaded barrel for my Glock 17 build. Admittedly the upper is not a stock Glock product, however up till now all parts for factory Glocks have dropped in and fit 100%. This barrel required fitting to properly lock up with the slide. Not a big deal unless the purchaser isn’t good with tools and patience.
The rifling has a very short free bore and those who hand load coated bullets will find they must load a short OAL (depending on bullet OGIVE). Bore scoped the rifling and it has a very nice finish with no milling marks.
Accuracy at 20 yards using Sig 115 FMJ is excellent.
Overall for the price it’s a good deal, but be forewarned fitting may be required and coated bullets will require a short OAL.
