I was very excited about this product because my wife has weak hands and racking slides, even the Ruger 22/45 slide, is difficult for her. I thought this would be a good solution. Unfortunately, this slide assist does not even come close to fitting on My Ruger 22/45 Lite. I figured that I must be doing something wrong so I spent a pretty good bit of time following the directions and going on line and watching Utube instructions without any success. The thing is just too small to fit my Ruger slide. No doubt about it. So, I heated up the racker with the hope that I could make the material softer and force it to twist on. No success. So I hooked vice grips to each end and tried to force the "grippers" farther apart. No success. It is now officially assigned to the same box that holds the numerous holsters I have purchased over the years that seemed like a good idea at the time that I purchased them. Optics Planet is great. I have always enjoyed doing business with them. While this is my first purchase from TacSol I am certain that TacSol is a good company and my problem is an anomaly. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Bolt Racker that I received was actually designed for an older model Ruger when the bolt slide grips was smaller. There is no way that it was designed to fit a 22/45 Lite! THE ROCK couldn't get that Racker on my Ruger!

Entirely too much fitting required for a part that is supposed to be twist on. I had to do a considerable amount of filing, so much so, that I'm concerned about the longevity of the part and its staying mounted.

Bush league garbage.

Rough edges. Difficult to install. Directions are simple but the quality control is terrible. Could not tactually get it installed; I cut myself in the process and stopped. Don’t bother buying this junk. OpticsPlanet should take this off their site. How can I return this?
