Most Helpful Positive Review Great stock but...
I was looking for a solid thumbhole stock for a 1022 target build. It came down to a Boyd's Blaster and this stock (TacSol Vantage). Here are a few considerations to maybe help other's decisions. The quality of both stocks are great IMO but the finish and grip on the Vantage are superior to me. Even so, I ended up using the Boyd's Blaster because for my size (6'+ tall), the Blaster's cheek weld is larger/higher/further offset to the right, the stock/butt pad is larger and the foreend has more barrel support for a 20" heavy bull barrel on a stock 1022 receiver (much stress on a slip-fit and...

t like the stock alot ,but i did use my shaping tools to put in finger grooves and to remove a bit of material where it felt to big.and then sprayed clear poly uri and its great.not sure if i should bed it inn now. im on the fence at the moment

Tactical Solutions Vantage stock

This is my second Tactical Solutions Vantage stock to install. This time was for my own gun. These are wonderful stocks. Enjoy all the products from Tactical Solutions. These may not be the best stock for someone to install themselves if they are not familiar with the 10/22. Both stocks have needed some work on the wood interior. They are a little rough. Need to clean out for placement of your receiver. Also There was a ledge which stopped placement of magazines on the first stock. Second stock was a little better. So expect to work on these to perfect them for yourself. Take your time and clean out a little at a time. Expect to use a knife and fine sandpaper. After trying several custom stocks, this is my favorite. Light weight and wonderful grip.

Awesome Stock

Bought this stock for my Ruger 10/22 build. The stock fit well with the action and bull barrel with no modifications needed. The stock is very comfortable and ergonomically friendly. I have had many compliments on this stock. Highly recommended!
