Decided to try a set of these on a G40 MOS with a Vortex Defender ST dot mounted with the Vortex plate that came with the red dot. Happy to report they are a “barely” 1/3 co-witnesses height with this combination; tall enough to use as backup sights or for dot acquisition but not too tall to take up a bunch of the window. On this gun they give a close 6 o’clock POI as well. Just see the hole above the sights with the dot turned off. Fit and finish were excellent as well. The setscrew in the rear sight is practically unnecessary as the piece drifted into the rear sight dovetail just as any other quality steel Glock replacement would. In fact, I left the screw out all together until I had settled on a load and after a few hundred rounds it had not moved whatsoever! Can’t say enough about this set of sights; I will insist on them should I ever do another dot on an MOS setup.
