Worthless junk - Talley 950700 1-Piece Hi Base & Ring Set for Remington 700

I put these rings on an older Remington 700. I bought them because the scope I was installing needed taller rings than the ones I had. I never had any alignment problems with this rifle with the old rings. I mounted them torqued them properly, added the scope and upon bore sighting found I ran out of windage adjustment before reaching zero. I tried just reversing the ring tops. Nope. I pulled the rings off and turned them 180. Too much spread for the scope. I reversed just one. Nope. I reversed just the other one. The saga goes on and on. The best I ever got was I am to the zero with the laser but only have 2 or 3 clicks left on windage. Don't waste your money.
