The scope rings were so accurately machined that when I was using my laping tool to align the scope rings perfectly, it virtually hit 95% of the surface which is telling me when I install my scope it will be properly aligned with front and back mount. Excited to mount my Leopold vari X 3 4.5x14 on a Mauser M 12 7MM
Pros:
- Highly recommend Talley products

The talley one peice fing and base is a very nice product. I ordered the wrong base and ring the first time' the screws were too big for my rifle. I called customer service and they were very helpful to me! Sent me the correct part number for what i needed and a return label. Sent the package back and they sent me the ones i needed! Very great company and customer service!!

I put these rings on my Remington 722, .244 Rem(6mm). I was a little worried that they would not fit a rifle made in 1958, but they fit like a glove. The scope was a Vortex Crossfire II, 4-12x44mm. I had to remove the rear "iron sight" to get the scope objective cover to fit. There is about 3/8 clearance without the cover. A little high for a perfect cheek weld, but pretty close. Plenty of adjustment room to get the average eye relief at the middle zoom setting. I possibly could have gotten away with the medium height, but I took the safe route. If the scope center dimension was given, it would have made it easier to choose.
I'll zero in the scope and see how it holds, but I don't see anything but a good solid set of rings! I hope this information helps someone out in the same situation. Next time I'm looking for rings, I'll start here.

I received the rings in less time than expected. They have a decent finish and were easy to mount to my rifle. Only my second time mounting a scope to rifle, and I had no challenges getting scope aligned and zeroed. I have fewer than 10 shots fired with the scope attached, but it holds zero so far.

These rings are an easy fix to a variable as well as a weight issue.
They are extremely light weight when compared to a rail plus additional rings and they are build very well.
Worked great with my Remington 700 AAC-SD.
My only reason for not getting a 5 star is because one of the torque screws twisted on me at 25 inch/ lbs of torque which is what I found online to be the proper ightness.

Used on a Remington 700 SPS .308 heavy barrel. mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50mm AO with a sun shade, the clearance was little less than 1/8 inch at the bell and the rings fit perfect with no lapping...by far better than Leupold IMO give them a try y'all wont regret it
Pros:
- Rock solid mount
- Perfect fit to the receiver.
Best Used for:
- anything you would use a rifle for

The brand quality speaks for itself and the convenience of having the base integrated with the ring is great. Total cost on par or less than buying separately. Less screws to work loose. Highly recommended.

My first experience with Talley products was about 30 years ago. At that time Talley produced a set of ring bases for Remington 700 rifles that would allow you to use Ruger Number 1 rings. I have this setup on two Remington 700 BDL's. One is a .308 the other a .223. Both are VSSF's with fluted stainless steel bull barrels. I have never had to re-zero either rifle during the ensuing years. I am of course, using the same loading that I developed for each respective rifle. I've test fired one round a year to insure my zero in each rifle and have not made a scope adjustment on either one since my original sight-in.
Now, Talley is making a one piece ring and base setup that i expect to do equally well. I mounted this set of rings on a Remington 700 BDL in .243 with a Vortex Viper 3.5-10 X 50 scope. Mounting was clean, quick and simple. I didn't even have to lap the rings for the Vortex to fit perfectly in place. This, incidentally, is the second Vortex Viper I've purchased from OpticsPlanet. Zeroing the rifle, after bore sighting, required only two rounds for my chosen zero distance. The next three rounds cut the same hole at 100 yards. I call that good enough to go coyote calling.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Clean & Streamlined.
- Strong Setup

Have purchased several of these before & they always fit great & perform very well, even with Magnum calibers. They install very easily and scope alignment is very close. May need a very small amount of lapping for perfect fit of scopes.
