sniper11jmk's Review of Talley 950700 1-Piece Hi Base & Ring Set for Remington 700

Used on a Remington 700 SPS .308 heavy barrel. mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50mm AO with a sun shade, the clearance was little less than 1/8 inch at the bell and the rings fit perfect with no lapping...by far better than Leupold IMO give them a try y'all wont regret it
Pros:
  • Rock solid mount
  • Perfect fit to the receiver.
Cons:
  • none... yet
Best Used for:
  • anything you would use a rifle for
