Whats not to like about this. This creates a solid base for mounting your scope to your rifle. I feel it gives less probability of movement in the scope rings. Just my feeling though! I am mounting this to a 7MM Remington Long Range model 700. With a Leupold VX-3i 4-20x50mm with a 30mm tube. So far the mounting is flawless and rock solid.

Idaho resident.

Talley is the only product I put on my hunting rifles!! I have quick change rings and bases on my long actions and short actions and can switch my glass from one gun to another, saving me $ on scopes and after the switch, the scope is always on zero!! I use nothing but Talley!!

Screws size incorrect

Hi , had a dealer order this product for me ..... Model PLM252700 ..... Eventually got round to fitting out my Remington 700 Police 300WM with this base , Weaver 6-hole Tactical rimgs an a Arken EP4 ..... And boom , the screws fell straight into the holes on the rifle . Its of course lockdown an here I sit !

Perfect Fit For Savage 116

Got this to build my Savage 116 weather warrior into a long range shooter. The fit was perfect and it even shipped with a little torx wrench for the installation. If you are getting this rail for the same reason, you may want to consider getting a cheek riser as the rail sits slightly high to give more elevation for shots.

I just purchased a talley rail for my 300 win mag a7 Sako. I have put a nightforce scope on it with rings. It has gone together smoothly and have had no problems with it. I will buy a talley rail again.

Based on need

I actually sold a rifle not too long ago and retained the scope but sold the 20 MOA base. When I ended up looking for another rifle I only wanted a 10 MOA base. I found this one at a reasonable price and it fit perfectly. I use very good quality aluminum rings and they worked very well with this base. I am very satisfied with the results for my application. The reason I would not use this base would be if I were using steel rings or my range of use for the rifle were moderate to short.

This picatinny rail fit perfectly on my rifle. Well built product. I have mounted a removable scope brings and they fit tight and my shots are repeatable. I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a solid base.

Talley Picatinny Base

Very good pricing and quick shipping as usual for Optics Planet. Product is machined spot on. Have installed on my weapon with no issues, and with the aid of my Wheeler Scope install system utilizing the torq wrench. My scope, a Leatherwood Computer ART, also from OP, is fantastic, dropped right on. Since it has an integral mount system, did not have to lap any rings, will do review of that after I get to the range.

Always recommend OP, and do recommend the Talley Picatinny Base.
